Today approximately 47 million seniors live in the United States, nearly 15% of the population, and this number is predicted to rise to more than 78 million by 2035. Senior Living Communities operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and with the variety of services, buildings and hospitals are very resource intensive. Hospitals are considered mission critical and are very energy and resource intensive with sophisticated building systems.
